The $13 Silver Developer That Doesn't Need Silver to Rise (And Doubles If It Does)
Last month a silver company IPO’d on the NYSE, and it has already round-tripped back to its IPO price while silver corrected 20% off its June high. The tape reads it as a silver miner caught in the drawdown. Here is the first problem. It is not a miner yet. It is a developer, restarting one of the most storied silver mines in America. No production until late 2028 on its own timeline, no proven reserves yet, feasibility study a year out.
What it does have is real. Very high grade. A famous name behind it with majority ownership. A critical-mineral byproduct that Washington suddenly cares about because China has been choking off supply. And the underwriting banks just initiated coverage 25 to 75 percent above the last close.
Here is the part the tape is missing, and it is the whole reason I am in it. You do not need silver to go up for this to go up. The stock trades below its own IPO price and below every target the banks just put out, and three of the things that re-rate it, feasibility de-risking, drilling that converts resource, and a critical-mineral plant Washington wants onshore, have nothing to do with the silver price. Silver going higher is the kicker that turns a re-rate into a double, not the thing you are betting the farm on.
And one thing almost everyone has wrong about silver right now: retail did not leave the asset class. Coin buyers capitulated, US Mint Silver Eagle sales literally hit zero in May, but the ETF crowd bought a record amount in January and is buying this dip. Two different tourists, going opposite directions.
Below the paywall: the name and ticker, what you own per ounce, the NAV and EV math, a bear, base and bull ladder with a per-share number and a probability on each, the kill switches, the catalyst clock, and my position. One idea in here pays for the year. $25 a month or $220 a year.
